ERAP (Consultant Ecologists) Ltd is a dynamic and professional practice.

Coronavirus Covid-19 Position

Please note that ERAP (Consultant Ecologists) Ltd is open for business as usual.

Based on current government advice and restrictions we will, for the most part, be working remotely from our homes and avoiding unnecessary travel and social contact.  In accordance with guidance from Defra we can still undertake site surveys provided we are able to apply appropriate social distancing to ensure the safety of our team and other people.  As such, staff will not routinely be in the office and will be unable to attend group meetings or similar.  We will be continuing to operate via email, telephone and video conferencing and will endeavour to handle any calls and e-mails in a timely manner.  However, lead and response times may be slightly extended during this period.  ERAP (Consultant Ecologists) Ltd wishes the very best to all at this time.

The scope of our experience and expertise covers all aspects of ecological survey and assessment.

Our knowledgeable team of ecologists holds the necessary qualifications and licences to undertake a full range of specialist ecological surveys to a high standard. An overview of the work we undertake is detailed on our Services page.

We have a diverse client portfolio, working with landowners, developers and development agencies, local planning authorities, renewable energy providers, mineral extraction companies, national parks, and organisations responsible for land management.

Our aim is to work closely with our clients to assist in the achievement of their project objectives by economic and practical means, whilst avoiding or minimising impacts on ecology and biodiversity in the local and wider areas. In achieving this we liaise effectively with local planning authorities, county ecologists, statutory nature conservation organisations and other relevant professional organisations.

We are skilled in the design and implementation of successful mitigation strategies for protected species and other wildlife. We also undertake habitat management, restoration and creation schemes for a wide diversity of projects.

We will be glad to answer any queries on all ecological matters. E-mailed enquiries should be sent to mail@erap.co.uk or contact one of our team of ecologists by telephone on 01772 750502.
